Peotone Bowling Center served the area for more than 68 years.
Home of the Peotone Classic Individual Bowling tournament for over 65 years.

Peotone Bowling Center opened its doors to the public for the first time, Saturday, Feb. 2, 1946, with six lanes. The Peotone Village Board and a team of firemen bowl a match game. The firemen won the series 1675 to 1291.The regular charge for bowling was 25 cents per line. Two more lanes were installed at the present location (year unknown). Brunswick A-2 pinsetters were installed in 1963. The lounge, furnace room and locker rooms were built in 1967. In 1978 Peotone Bowling Center replace alleys 7 and 8 with lanes purchased from a bowling center in Moline. In 1990 wood lanes was replaced by synthetic

Automatic scoring was added in 2008 Also, in keeping with the increasing popularity of bumper bowling for small children, bumper rails were also installed. Every lane offered the opportunity to raise the bumper rails in a matter of seconds. Truss failure in December, 2011 caused the center was closed for 9 months During the reconstruction the lights were upgraded and with the introduction of Cosmic Bowl spotlighting and black lighting was installed  The Cool Cosmic Bowling where you bowl with the light down, great popular music turned up and awesome special effects lighting.

Peotone Bowling Center is a place for families spanning the entire range of generations, from great grandparents to small children gathering for bumper bowling birthday parties, league bowling, or just open bowling. Bowling is a game that adults and children and commutate while getting some exercise at the same time. Peotone Bowling Center is a great place to have fun times with family and friends at a price that won’t break your family’s budget. We have bumper bowling available all of our 8 lanes as well as lightweight balls to make it enjoyable for kids! Bumpers are great to keep the bowling balls out of the gutters and put smiles on the faces of your small children.

Peotone Bowl is the perfect spot for open and league bowling. Member of Bowling Proprietors Association of America, Illinois and Will County Bowling Proprietors Association.
